Pete Rose may never get into the MLB Hall of Fame, but he’ll always be beloved in the city of Cincinnati.
Major League Baseball revealed each team’s “Franchise Four” at the 2015 MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night. the Cincinnati Reds were the last team to have its “Franchise Four” announced.
Catcher Johnny Bench was the first player announced, then shortstop Barry Larkin and second baseman Joe Morgan.
Pete Rose was the final player announced, and the Great American Ball Park erupted into chants of “Pete!”
