The Philadelphia Eagles and head coach Chip Kelly just announced that tight end Zach Ertz had a core muscle injury and would miss the entire preseason schedule after having groin surgery.
Ertz had surgery to correct core muscle injury, team said. Performed by Dr. Meyers. Source said for partial groin tear, not sports hernia.

Ertz saw Dr. William Meyers, who operated on Texans running back Arian Foster a few Fridays ago.
