It may be hard to believe, but UCLA Bruins head coach Steve Alford will be entering his third season in LA this fall. During his first two seasons, Alford has accumulated a record of 50-23.
However, success in the tournament is something UCLA is looking for moving forward and grabbing a player of the caliber as Jaylen Hands is a step in the right direction.
Jaylen Hands is ranked No. 21 overall in the 2017 class. This is a major pick up for Steve Alford, who currently has No. 2 2016 class.

Hands made sure to consult with his close ones upon making this decision.
“Me and my family felt the most comfortable with UCLA and their staff as a whole,” Hands said. “The education, the spotlight, the lineage of point guards being sent to the league, and being so close to home is something we couldn’t pass up.”
UCLA basketball may officially be back here really soon.
