Many people around the NFL might be shocked about the Patriots cheating ways, but Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison, says he’s not shocked at all.
Harrison says he’s always believed the Pats were playing with house money.
“No, we kind of had that idea after everything came out (in 2008),” said the Steelers linebacker. “I guess it’s a big thing now because its on paper and everyone’s seeing it.
“I thought everyone knew that it was years.”
Harrison says the jig was up for him, during a matchup during the 2004-2005 season in which the Patriots picked up almost every Steelers blitz.
“Hell, I felt cheated back in 2004-05 when they came here and hit us on 90-92 percent of our blitzes,” Harrison said. “They only missed one or two, that’s impossible.
“That’s like going to Vegas and rolling the dice 20-30 times and you only lose twice, c’mon?”
Harrison has been a vocal critic of Goodell’s and on Monday hinted at possibly trying to recoup all the fine money he’s lost over the years.
