There has been a continued push to find additional information about the effect that football has on the body. Particularly the effect concussions have on developing CTE. The NFL is starting to do its part in protecting players over the long-term.
New rules have shifted to a safer game. Now the NFL is planning on sharing concussion data to develop safer more protective helmet. Essentially todays players will be guinea pigs for a safer tomorrow. It’s a start for NFL however I think they need to move faster with the data collection.
