The UFC is less than 2 days away from UFC 192 in Houston, Tx and they’ve announced that they will be moving on without their co-main event between Johny Hendricks & Tyron Woodley.
All reports are saying that Hendricks weight properly and with the recent IV ban there was no way to replenish his fluids if he did a drastic last second cut.
This news shouldn’t comes as much as a surprise. Hendricks had been known to cut as much as 35 lbs heading into his fights; which is one of the most drastic cuts by any UFC athlete. It seems as though Hendricks has officially worked his way out of the title picture with this mishap.
Woodley is now in prime position to receive the next title shot; that is unless Rory MacDonald is proven healthy enough to challenge him for the #1 contender spot in the near future.
