In all fairness, when you are the quarterback (with a big contract) of a team that is 1-7, and the team has an 0-16 season already on the books, that will happen.
While Stafford has a point on that he shouldn’t have to answer questions about going 0-16 so early in the season, the simple cure to all the negativity is winning.
Win games, and people will find something else to talk about. It’s that simple.
