It’s 2016. If you think you’re going to get away with stealing a credit card number at work and use it for groceries in the same town you live in, you deserve what’s coming to you. The 19-year-old was confronted by Juana Martinez, who said the barista copied her credit card number down during her last visit. Martinez then had a $200 charge at Ralphs, resulting in Martinez being unable to pay her rent. The barista admitted to it and offered to pay the money back. It’s a little bit late for that.
The Daily Mail reports that the employee has been fired. With that on her resume, I assume her retail career is over.
