This would be a great move for the Pistons, as Conley would bring veteran playoff experience to a young Pistons team. You have to give Stan Van Gundy and the Pistons credit for really making a great effort to turn the Pistons back into Eastern conference contenders. The city of Detroit has been itiching for a contending team since the 03-04 title when Billups won Finals MVP. Besides Billups being a bigger guard, Conley and Billups show similarities in their play as they both are great in controlling the offense and making the right play when in critical parts of a game. Maybe this can be similar to the trade they made in 03-04 for Rasheed Wallace which instantly made them into title contenders.
