The Golden State Warriors have been without star PG, Steph Curry since a knee ligament injury suffered on April 24, and with a comfortable 2-0 lead over the Portland Trailblazers, head coach Steve Kerr sees no reason to risk further damage by rushing him back too early.
Kerr joined the Dan Patrick show to give an update on Curry’s status:
According to Kerr, Curry hasn’t been able to join his teammates for a full practice yet, but as long as the Warriors role players keep doing their thing, he can kick his feet up and relax until the finals.
As of now, Golden State’s only worry should be if, Curry can regain his MVP form fast enough to push the Warriors to the mountaintop again when he finally does make it back to the lineup.
