This is horrible and heartbreaking.
Be very careful about the people you date from social media apps.
On Adam Hilarie’s first date with a woman he met online, he went bowling. The next night, they met up again, and he ended up dead.
The 27-year-old Central Florida man was killed Friday when his date from the PlentyOfFish online service, and three men, came back to his house to rob him, Auburndale police told The Orlando Sentinel.
Hilarie was shot in the head and died on his kitchen floor.
After their bowling date, police said the pair went back to Hilarie’s house. The Sentinel reported his date texted him: “I had a good time and would like to see you again.”
Cops said 18-year-old Hailey Bustos, who was paid $50 to arrange the theft of Hilarie’s TVs, Xbox and iPhone, returned hours later for the robbery with three friends. Somehow, it escalated.
“Hilarie was begging for his life, he was not putting up any kind of fight, and was telling them that he had a 5-year-old daughter,” according to a police report obtained by the Sentinel.
They have all been charged with first degree murder and frankly I hope none of them never see the outside of a prison again.
