Metta World Peace is entering his 17th season, and he has a low possibility to make the final cut on the Lakers roster. World Peace, 36, is still optimistic that he will play at least three more years for a basketball team.
“My concern is having a good time. There’s nothing to overcome,” World Peace said. “I’m a hell of a basketball player. That’s the hard part, becoming a good basketball player. Once you do that, you don’t have to worry about nothing else.”
If World Peace doesn’t make the Lakers roster, it might be some team out there that could use him for his veteran presence, and maybe he will reach his goal. But his chances are looking very slim.
