Colin Kaepernick already put his money where his mouth his, and now he’s going to allow you — the criticizing public — to keep score.
After revealing that he would donate $1 million of his salary this season toward organizations fighting against racial oppression and social injustices, Kaepernick announced Friday on Instagram the launching of a website where his donations to various organizations and fights can be tracked.
In addition — he’ll also provide information about his cause and program for local youth called, “Know Your Rights Camp.”
“The mission of the Colin Kaepernick foundation is to fight oppression of all kinds globally, through education and social activism.”
According to site stats — Kaepernick donated $25,000 each to Silicon Valley De-Bug (San Jose, Calif.), Causa Justa/Just Cause (San Jose, Calif.), Urban Underground (Milwaukee, Wis.) and Mothers Against Police Brutality (Dallas, Texas) in the month of October.
Kaep repeated the process in November, this time aiming his $25,000 donation to Black Youth Project (Chicago, Ill.), Gathering for Justice/Justice League (New York, N.Y.), Communities United for Police Reform (New York, N.Y.) and I Will Not Die Young (Milwaukee, Wis.).
