According to the Irish Sun, it looks like terms for the Mayweather v McGregor fight are almost complete. Both men have settled on their respective fees and it’s just a matter of signing the contracts and a third party sign off. That third party, however, is Dana White and UFC.
As you know Dana White and UFC have McGregor under contract and have done their best to squash any idea of a bout between the two star combat fighters. White and UFC no doubt want their piece of the pie since McGregor is “their guy.” Understandable. Nothing this major happens unless all the players get paid.
No word from either Mayweather or McGregor, nor their respective camps. Until contracts are signed, it is still talk no matter what. But, lets assume it will happen. Will this fight highlight the idea of “two Americas”? How many people will become conveniently Irish with the hopes of seeing Floyd get beat?
