Former President George W. Bush is expressing his discontent with the uptick in public displays of bigotry and says American’s should reject any notions of white supremacy.
Speaking at a forum focusing on security at the George W. Bush Institute on Thursday, the former President addressed the state of race relations and criticized the “governing class,” The Hill.com reports.
“Bigotry seems emboldened. Our politics seem more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication.”
“Bigotry or white supremacy in any form is blasphemy against the American creed,”
