It’s been whirlwind season for Kawhi and the Spurs but a return to the floor appears to be close.

Should Kawhi return Thursday versus the Pelicans, he will have 14 games to get back into game shape before the playoffs. Knowing Coach Popovich, Kawhi is likely to be brought along at a steady pace playing roughly 20-25 minutes per game initially.
Things may be falling into place for a playoff run for the Spurs. San Antonio currently sits in the five spot out west, just a couple games out of a three seed. Given the play of their role players and resurgence of LaMarcus Aldridge, Pop and company are once again on pace to be a tough out come June.
