Jordan Clarkson is having an interesting career and at 25 has played with some of the best basketball players to ever play the game. His first two seasons he was in Los Angeles learning from the legend Kobe Bryant.
After Kobe retired Clarkson was on his own and taking what he learned from Kobe and showcasing it on the court. Fast forward to this season and Clarkson was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, again he’s playing alongside an all-time great.
Clarkson was on the CavsHQ radio show earlier this week where he talked about what it’s like learning from these two veterans according to UPROXX.
“Two different styles of leadership. LeBron is very encouraging, bringing everybody along. And Kobe, he’s testing you, seeing what you gonna give him. He’s gonna get at you, he’s gonna scream at you, he’s gonna cuss, do whatever it is. He had his own way of leading guys as well, so it’s two different sides. I’m just blessed to see both of them.”
Two different players delivering the same end goal, and that’s being the best player one can be amongst the other talented NBA players. Clarkson has fit right in with the Cavs and he, Larry Nance Jr. and George Hill might be enough to punch their ticket to the NBA Finals.
