The Sixers suffered a tough 108-103 loss in Boston last night which puts them in a tough 2-0 hole heading back to Philadelphia. Ben Simmons did not look like his normal self as he only had one point, seven assists and five rebounds. This caused Head Coach Brett Brown to bench him for most of the third and fourth quarters.
Simmons did come back in late in the fourth quarter but he still wasn’t effective as the Celtics kept their feet on the Sixers’ necks. After the game, Simmons discussed what caused him to struggle so much. He attributed everything to “self- inflicted struggles” and that he was thinking too much.
The Sixers will look to get back in the series in Game 3 on Saturday at home.
