An MMA fighter died after bouncers savagely beat him down for trying to sneak a weapon into a club where they were working.
The Sun UK reports that Jamshid Kenzhayev attempted to enter the Aurum 898 nightclub in Uzbekistan when club security found a knife in his possession. Shortly after, a reported 12 bouncers surround him on the floor and begin punching and kicking him. As the beating continues, the bouncers reportedly stabbed Kenzhayev with his own knife and beat him further with baseball bats before dumping his body into the street.
The former MMA champion was ultimately taken to a hospital where he ultimately died from his injuries. The incident is being investigated as a murder according to The Sun.
Jamshid Kenzhayev was an MMA champion in Uzbekistan and was a former national team freestyle wrestler that competed previously in the Asian Games.
