Well folks, the show is over…kind of.
The arbitration hearing chapter of the A-Rod vs MLB saga has come to a close, just a day removed from ‘storm out-gate‘. A-Rod said in the heat of the moment that he was done talking and that he had no chance of winning.
After Bud Selig refused to show up and meet A-Rod the hearing came to an abrupt end, with both parties licking their wounds. Independent arbitrator Frederic Horowitz can choose to either uphold the 211 game suspension, extend it, reduce it or toss it out a decision is expected to come as soon as late December or as late as mid January.
What will transpire over the course of the wait for A-Rod’s fate is up in the air, but if A-Rod is true to his word he’ll use this time to air more of MLB’s dirty laundry to the public.
Sounds like the fun is just beginning.
