Before last night Vanderbilt vs UC Irvine College World Series game, Allstate presented a $10,000 check to Boys Town behind home plate. These funds will directly support youth sports programs at Boys Town.
Pictured in the photo is Dr. Dan Daley (third to right) of Boys Town, Mike Reynolds (second to right) of Allstate Insurance Company for the $10,000 donation made tonight. On-hand to accept the check was Sam Saintizaire, Mayor of Boys Town (left) and Jeanelle Mitchell, Boys Town student ambassador (second to left).
During opening weekend of the College World Series, Allstate rewarded baseball fans who demonstrated they had “Good Hands in the Stands”. Each fan who caught or retrieved the first foul ball hit into the stands of every half inning at T.D. Ameritrade Park received a commemorative trophy to display their winning catch. Each ball caught, triggered a donation from Allstate to Boys Town for future stars of the diamond.
The “Good Hands in the Stands” and donation to supports youth sports programs were great examples by Allstate to invest in the local community.
