Miami Marlins second baseman Dee Gordon was busted for PED use and received an 80-game suspension as a result.
He’s now making his return Thursday, and is making his plea for forgiveness:

This is a very smart P.R. move for Gordon’s camp.
Gordon is a talented, young, marketable player in a sport needing it’s young stars to succeed; and by getting out in front of his PED suspension & accepting blame, he’s allowing himself to possibly still be endorsable.
Besides, this is the MLB, all he needs to do is play well and all will be fine…as long as he doesn’t fail another test.
