The Washington Redskins have traded Jason Campbell to Oakland for a 4th round pick in 2012. The writing was on the wall for Jason when the Redskins brought in Donovan McNabb earlier this offseason.
Jason Campbell actually has improved his yards, touchdowns, and completion percentage every year he has played. For some reason or another, there is always coaching or team turmoil surrounding teams he is on. Going back to his years at Auburn, he has played under 6 different offensive systems/coordinators.
Considering he was told that he will be the starter, Campbell and his mustache will get the job over Jamarcus Russell, Bruce Gradkowski, Kyle Boller, and Charlie Frye, and whatever other stiffs they have on the roster at QB. The Raiders put a little faith in him by adding an extra year on his deal so I’m sure Jason will be happy to get his own team (even if it is the Raiders) and try to get Al Davis back into the playoffs.
