The New York Jets are a mess, and things are getting so ugly for the franchise, that some in the NFL media are now starting to turn on each over the situation.
Jason La Canfora and Bart Hubboch are well-known established NFL writers. La Canfora works for CBS Sports, and Hubbuch is a long time New York Post columnist.
According to Awful Announcing, the two respected journalist got into a heated Twitter war on Wednesday night over those same ugly New York Jets.
It all started with a La Canfora column that focused on the controversy surrounding Mark Sanchez getting hurt late in a meaningless preseason game last week.
La Canfora took the local Jets media to task for blowing Sanchez’s injury out of proportion. La Canfora Tweeted out a link to that column, and it was on from there.
Bart Hubbuch took offense with La Canfora, and the war was on from there.
The real issue between the two men is not the Jets blatant love for being inept. Its simply the fact that you have a national NFL reporter, ruffling the feathers of local beat writers and columnist who take pride in being the only one’s who are allowed to rip and berate the Jets.
