“Every time I go to Duke it feels like home,” Giles said after announcing the decision on ESPN. “Every time I talk to Coach K, it’s a special feeling. …I feel most comfortable there.”
Giles moved up his announcement to Duke after tearing his ACL earlier this week.
Giles averaged 23.9 points and 12.5 rebounds last season, while playing for Wesleyan High School in his home state of North Carolina.
Giles’ Duke declaration was made at Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., where he’s spending his senior season.
