Red Sox fans are trying to do the right thing a day after Adam Jones experienced some ugly racism at Fenway Park. Jones was called the N-word by some Red Sox fans and one fan threw peanuts at him.
The MLB and the Red Sox released statements condemning the actions of those fans, and today Boston fans stepped up and showed that they are not all the same.

This is the appropriate response from Red Sox fans after a truly ugly incident. There are only 62 African American players in Major League Baseball and according to C.C. Sabathia, black players expect racist behavior from Red Sox fans. Hopefully, this incident will be used as a catalyst that brings positive changes at Fenway.
