It isn’t uncommon for NFL players to get into small scuffles during minicamp and training camp. With mincamp well underway, we knew that it wouldn’t be too long before teammates let their presence be felt on the practice field. New Ravens WR Steve Smith decided to make himself feel right at home in Baltimore by initiating a little scuffle between him and Lardarius Webb. Webb went up to contest a pass thrown at Smith, and in typical Smith fashion, he took some offense to it.
Today’s practice was chippy at times, as Lardarius Webb & Steve Smith got into a small scuffle. Timmy Jernigan & Crockett Gillmore also did.

2nd #Ravens fight was better: Steve Smith shoves Lardarius Webb after the CB contested a pass too vigorously for minicamp. Webb shoved back.

It appears to have been more of a shoving match more than an actual beat down between the two sides, but teammates don’t generally try to beat each to the death like gladiators.
