ESPN RISE Announces Complete 2009 Boost Mobile Elite 24

ESPN RISE today revealed the complete roster for the fourth annual Boost Mobile Elite 24 event, the nation’s premier elite high school boys basketball event for underclassmen. Featuring 24 of the top high school basketball players from across the nation, Boost Mobile Elite 24 players are selected by a committee of high school basketball experts: ESPN RISE Magazine, ESPN Scouts, Inc. and other leading talent evaluators. Players are selected based on their performance at AAU tournaments and national summer camps.

The second set of 12 players selected for the 2009 Boost Mobile Elite 24 features class of 2010 stand out, point guard Kyrie Irving from St. Patrick’s (Elizabeth, N.J.), No. 9 ESPNU 100; and No. 1 and No. 2 on the ESPNU Terrific 25 from the class of 2012, power forward DaJuan Coleman from Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, N.Y.), and power forward Perry Ellis from Wichita Heights (Wichita, Kan.). Additionally, shooting guard Dion Waiters from Life Center (Burlington, N.J.), shooting guard Doron Lamb from Oak Hill Academy (Mouth of Wilson, Va.), who played in the ESPN RISE National High School Invitational earlier this year; and center Josh Smith from Kentwood (Covington, Wash.) will make consecutive appearances this year.
