Black Sports Online Dallas Correspondent Tasha Robinson attended the How Do You McNugget sweepstakes kickoff at McDonalds during NBA All-Star Weekend, where Orlando Magic player Dwight Howard showed off his skills on how he likes to McNugget: “dribble and dip it.”
Tasha: After a stellar season last year leading your team to the NBA Finals what are you doing differently if any to get back there.
Dwight Howard (DH): I think we will need to be more of a consistent team, play better team ball and just play better overall.
Tasha: How does it feel to be apart of McDonalds Spirit of the Event?
DH: Man, it’s just an honor to be working with McDonalds in general. I grew up looking at all the McDonalds commercials and eating McDonalds every other day as a kid. I am just truly happy to be a part McDonalds Team.
Tasha: Was being able to play with the Olympic Team a goal realized & how do you feel about the 2012 Olympics’?
DH: Yeah it was a goal and I was glad to represent my country. And I am looking forward to 2012; hopefully I can be on the team and be healthy. One gold medal is great, but I would love another one.
Natasha: What do you tell that little kid in small town American that has hopes and dreams of playing for the NBA?
DH: Anything is possible for anybody long as you have goals and priorities aligned. I always put God first, my family, school and then basketball or whatever it maybe. You never want to put basketball or any sport as your main property
