The latest halftime masterpiece came from Friday’s Jazz-Cavs game in Utah. When a spectator in a Cavs jersey waved a “Jazz Stink” sign, Utah’s mascot countered with an oversized sign of his own. Apparently, Cleveland fans don’t like being called losers.
Was this midcourt brawl staged? Probably, but fans should take this as a warning before challenging mascots to a throw-down at center-court.
The Cavs fan flew about 10 feet in the air after being body blocked by the Utah Bear. If that was stage, I hope he was paid a lot of money to be embarrassed like that.
