If you are a true sports fan, then you watched the amazing Fab 5 Documentary on ESPN.
If you are like me, it brought to the surface emotions that have long been buried. Especially in regards to race, corruption, social impact and just how it felt during the early 90’s when the Fab 5 came on the scene.
I can only imagine how Chris Webber felt watching— what were his emotions? How does he feel now when he watches the young version of himself ? How does he feel about the Michigan program now, the timeout, Ed Martin and just the enormity of the Fab 5?
We may never know because he doesn’t publicly talk about it. Hopefully one day he will, because deep down, you know that is still sitting like a ton of bricks on his chest.
I like President Obama, but he isn’t my favorite President— that will always be Bill Clinton. Clinton, who was President at the time of Webber’s infamous timeout, wrote this handwritten letter to C Webb. Bill Clinton is that dude. H/T @netw3rk
