Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall was stabbed by his wife in the stomach and is currently in the hospital as a result. Marshall is expected to make a full recovery in two to three weeks. This isn’t Marshall’s first time around the block in dealing with an off field injury as he was previously injured wrestling with a relative while a Denver Bronco. Details surrounding the stabbing are yet to surface with Marshall nor his wife willing to speak on the incident.
Marshall’s off the field problems were thought to be a thing of the past with his arrival in Miami, yet his domestic disputes are once again reappearing. Marshall and his wife were previously arrested and released after a public fight in Atlanta in 2009.
Prior to his marriage, Marshall had a series of domestic disputes with a long time girlfriend that essentially earned him a bad reputation. Although it could turn out to be nothing more than a marital argument that got out of hand, Marshall has to know that he’s already been labeled a troublemaker and it would better serve him to avoid the domestic disputes that have tagged along with him for the better part of his career.
