I feel for Lebron, no one wants to see their mom get arrested except Aqib Talib. It has to be embarrassing for him especially considering his mom appears to be heading for a stint on Celebrity Rehab.
Lebron handle the situation the best he could (video is courtesy of our friend Necole Bitchie). He said all the right things to the media and didn’t run from it. I did make fun of him for not going to the police station to pick up his mom, but in retrospect it would have probably been a zoo if he did that.
People have asked me if I believe this will have any affect on the Heat. I doubt it, Lebron has been dealing with his mom acting out since he was a teenager, so this is nothing new.
He is probably upset he is going to have to write that check to the valet, but I am sure he has had to write a few checks in his day to cover his mother’s wild behavior.
