From the look of this mugshot it appears the cops did a lot more assaulting of Garrett Wolfe than he did of them. Wolfe was arrested on retail theft and I can only assume when he was confronted is when the altercation happened with the police.
Here are the details.
The news, first reported by Pro Football Talk, comes a day after Wolfe traveled to Miami, where he has spent some time in the extended offseason.
Wolfe has been charged with retail theft, assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest with violence and disorderly conduct, according to Miami-Dade county booking information.
Curious to hear Wolfe’s side of the story, because it certainly appears he caught a Rodney King style beat down. Wolfe has played four years in the NFL all as a spot player with the Chicago Bears.
Whenever the lock out ends he will be an unrestricted free agent.
