Our sources said that Dwight Howard had been Candy for awhile, so he was aware of who she was even if he doesn’t follow her now. He decided to make her evening by tweeting her tonight.

As you could imagine Candy was very excited to get her tweet from Dwight, while others were trying to rain on her parade.

Now if you ignore for a minute that Candy is sucking on a cucumber with another girl in her profile pic, this is another example of athletes not being aware in their social media spaces.
I personally would hope most people see it for what it is, which is nothing that Dwight being silly (even though he does know her in some capacity), but never throw gasoline on fire that is new age media.
In the grand scheme of thing not a big deal for Dwight Howard, but don’t cause yourself any unnecessary drama if you don’t need to.
