The episode in a nutshell is Kevin Arnold’s dad from Wonder Years is a youth league basketball coach who is molesting his players.
A lot of his players turn into big NBA stars like Melo, Bosh and the biggest star is a fake Kobe Bryant aka Eggs from True Blood aka the fake T.O. guy from Necessary Roughness.
The Fake Kobe Bryant refuses to acknowledge the abuse, a bunch of stereotypes are thrown out, Ice T acts like Ice T, Heavy D kills a guy, but doesn’t change the shoes he kills him in even though they are only one pair of shoes on the planet, Jessica from As The World Turns shows up & yada yada yada the Fake Kobe Bryant testifies and Kevin Arnold’s dad goes to jail.
I think I could be a TV writer if this is all you need to do to make a script for a nighttime drama.
