It appears West Virginia Fans have sunk to a new low. This photo was discovered by TigerDroppings.com and appears to be another chapter in the WVU T-shirt saga.
West Virginia’s fans already had a t-shirt banned by their Athletic Director, Oliver Luck, after ESPN showed one of their more popular shirts to a national audience, which read “West F##### Virginia” across the chest.
After the game, Luck wrote a letter to all fans banning the shirts asking that they not wear the shirts and “present a more favorable image to the millions of football fans from around the country who will be watching the (LSU) game.”
A student group at West Virginia even offered to buy back the shirts from students for $20 per shirt.
However, it’s obvious that fans did not take heed to the Athletic Director’s requests, and have instead opted for a more TRASHY, less classy means of support.
Here is a pic of the shirts that were banned last week.
What are your thoughts on the new t-shirts ? Have the Mountaineers’ fans gone too far?
