Last night the St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Texas Rangers to cap off one of the most improbable runs to the World Series Championship. From their epic return from 8 games down to catch the Atlanta Braves on the final day of the regular season, to being down to their final STRIKE twice in game 6 the night before, this was a team that refused to lose.
What the Cardinals did last night was similar to what the Starter God Tim Tebow did a few days ago against the Miami Dolphins, so it was only fitting that Albert Pujols would pay homage to the superior accomplishment. He gently dropped to one knee before joining his team around the pitchers mound to celebrate their victory. I wonder what it must have felt like for the humble Pujols to momentarily feel the sensation of defeating the putrid 0-5 Miami Dolphins.
Thankfully, Pujols didnt start this craze because I would hate to see pictures of people Pujoling, because that just sounds unnecessarily dirty.
If Pujols decides to leave via free agency, rumor has it he will be changing his number from 5 to 15.
We covered the Tebowing phenomenon earlier this week, but just in case you are one of the unenlightened, here is a pic.
