Dwyane Wade Had His Knee Drained During Heat vs. Pacers Series

People were talking crazy about D Wade after one bad game.

He is Dwyane Wade, not JR Smith, it was just a matter time before he came out of his funk. Those who didn’t want Wade traded, were making excuses for him.

Sure he is gimpy, but everyone is around this time of year, to Wade’s credit and unlike Blake Griffin he isn’t making a big deal about it.

After having fluid drained from his troublesome left knee last week, Heat guard Dwyane Wade had one of the worst playoff games of his career as Miami stumbled into a 2-1 series hole against the Indiana Pacers.

Apparently, all Wade needed were a few days of rest and treatment, a pep talk from his former college coach and another crack at Indiana to get his body and mind on track.

Wade has consistently downplayed how sore his left knee had been in recent weeks and continued after Sunday’s game to say he wouldn’t use any injuries as an excuse for his performance. But multiple sources close to Wade and the team told to ESPN.com Sunday night that he required the minor draining procedure on Wednesday before the Game 3 loss.

Wade declined to comment on the procedure after Game 4 other than to say, “If I’m in uniform, I ready to play.”

Lebron has been the consistent one throughout the season, it is on Wade not to carry Lebron, but to carry his own weight.  To be Batman to Lebron’s Superman.

Did a great job in Game 4.
