I think the last place Josh Hamilton should go is New York. He barely seems to have his life under control, so going to the Yankees with the pressure that comes with it, would break him.
The Yankees though according to USA Today are performing a background check on Hamilton and could quite possibly offer him a front loaded contract.
The market for Hamilton’s services hasn’t been great, so he might take whatever he can get especially if most of the money is up front.
A-Rod is still laughing to the bank.
