4:00 p.m. came and went, and there was no activity on the Jets and Darrelle Revis front, so all indications are that the New York Jets paid Revis his $1 million roster bonus due to him according to Manish Mehta.
Darrelle Revis is scheduled to earn a $1 million roster bonus from the Jets today (4 pm ET). #nyj

Revis also is due to receive a reporting bonus of $1 million, a workout bonus of $1 million, and a base salary of $3 million, but that will only occur if Revis is still a Jet as things continue to move along.
Many will figure that since the Jets paid Revis $1 million that they won’t trade him. Of course that is not the case. In the grand scheme of things when close to $100 million in potential contract is on the line, the Jets have no problem paying him $1 million as they wait for the right deal to come along.
If not, then they’ll just pay Revis $5 million for one final year.
