Manti Te’o and his catfish scenario is effecting everyone around him.  Ever since Te’o and his fake girlfriend hit social media and news sites, radars have gone up in NFL circles, and now everyone is paying for it.

Reports have surfaced that NFL types were asking players if they had girlfriends, if they liked girls, and questions about their sexual orientation.

The one person solely responsible for the invasive questions, admitted to Yahoo Sports, that “no one asked him about his sexual orientation.’

“No, I don’t think that’s a question they asked,” Te’o said on Friday.

The Notre Dame linebacker’s made those remarks during a press conference in New Jersey to honor Te’o being named the Maxwell Award winner as the nation’s top college player by the Maxwell Football Club.

They were his first public comments since several outlets reported Te’o had been asked about his sexuality by teams in advance of the NFL draft.
