Jose Canseco is known for making headlines when he speaks so when debuted his new podcast “Canseco knows best“, you had to know there was a chance that the former MLB player would say something noteworthy.

So during the second episode, Canseco made some rather serious claims about steroids once again. Except this time, the players he referenced are immortalized in the Hall of Fame.

“How can just you say that the steroid era didn’t happen?” the New York Times bestselling author of Juiced hypothetically asked the baseball writers.  “Some of the players that have already been inducted (in the Hall of Fame) used steroids by the way.  There are some players in the Hall of Fame that used performance enhancing drugs or chemicals.”

You can safely assume Canseco didn’t name any player specifically but Hall of Very Good brought up an interesting point about his comments.

Some of the players that Canseco played with that are currently in the Hall of Fame include Wade Boggs, Dennis Eckersley, Rich Gossage, Rickey Henderson, Reggie Jackson, Nolan Ryan and Don Sutton. Makes you wonder who exactly he might be referring to.
