After being drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars, many wondered what position former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson would play.
The Jaguars officially answered that question for us yesterday. According to the Jaguars official roster, Robinson will play the “offensive weapon” position.
Robinson who is embracing the slash role made famous by Kordell Stewart some years ago, attends meetings with the running backs, but expects to see time at wide receiver, quarterback, fullback and kick returner.
General manager David Caldwell has a goal of 10 to 15 snaps per game for Robinson as a rookie.
