Anaheim Angels slugger Albert Pujols was officially announced to be done for the season according to CBS Sports. This isn’t surprising as Pujols has been bothered by Plantar fasciitis this season. The Angels organization had actually given tell-tale signs that this was coming when news broke of his injury in July.
Pujols signed a 10-year blockbuster contract with the Angels before the 2012 season after spending his first 11 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals, where he won 3 MVP titles and and 2 World Series titles.
