I’m not sure if Eagles wide receiver Jason Avant conferred with LeSean McCoy on Riley Cooper, but he sure spoke as if the Eagles as a team were ready to move back the incident of racial slurs.
Avant was asked about Cooper, who returned to the Eagles training camp after he was excused for four days to deal with the ramification of being caught on video calling someone a ‘nigger.”
Avant told ESPN Boston that Eagles as a team are “over it.”
Eagles WR Jason Avant on Riley Cooper situation: "Our guys are definitely over it."

Avant has been with the Eagles for seven seasons now, so he has some clout in the locker room, but I’m not necessarily sure he should be the one trying to calm the storm.
We won’t truly know if the team is over it until Michael Vick or Shady McCoy choose to make such a claim.
