Bama’s Ha Ha Clinton-Dix Reinstated by The NCAA

ha ha

Alabama Safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has been reinstated by the NCAA. Clinton-Dix served a two game suspension after  received a loan of less than $500 from assistant strength and conditioning coach Corey Harris.

Coach Nick Saban had this to say about the matter:

“I think he’s done as good a job in trying to practice and continue to improve working and practicing on scout team as anyone could,” Alabama coach Nick Saban said Monday. “I’m sure it’s a difficult circumstance. Nobody that is a true competitor likes not to be there for his teammates.
“HaHa has been that kind of player for us. But it’s also the point that you’ve got to make good choices and decisions about what you do, and when you don’t do the right things, there are consequences that we all have to suffer through. Hopefully this will be a great learning experience for not only HaHa but each and every player on our team.”

It looks like Bama knew they’d be getting their star safety back sooner rather than later as he has been practicing this whole time. This should be a non issue anyway but the rules are the rules.
