So much for Chauncey Billups’ prediction that he’ll be the Pistons starting point guard in 2013.
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that Pistons head coach Maurice Cheeks will choose between Billups or Rodney Stuckey at the shooting guard position.
Cheeks could change his mind, but he said he is a “veteran’s coach.”
Cheeks reserved the right to change his mind, but said either Billups or Stuckey will get nod opening night. Says he is a "veterans coach."

Brandon Jennings of course will man the point for Detroit, and the two guard spot should eventually go to Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
