Yasiel Puig is flashy and bold, but he definitely hasn’t forgotten where he came from. On Thursday the Dodgers outfielder showed the more humble side of himself. TMZ reports that Puig showed up to batting practice for a little league team in LA called the Texas Rangers and asked if he could hang out.
Of course he was instantly recognized and welcomed to the group. He first took some time to sign autographs for everyone and then he headed to the mound to pitch for the kids. The parents described the scene by saying:
“It’s a practice the kids will never forget.”
