Over the weekend, it was reported that Alex Rodriguez had tested positive for a stimulant in 2006. Naturally A-Rod wasn’t going to lie down and take more abuse from the MLB. The Yankees third baseman has taken action. CBS Sports reports that A-Rod’s lawyers filed a complaint which states that MLB is leaking false information to the media about the 2006 test.
The arbitration hearing for A-Rod’s 211-game ban and other issues is on pause until November 18, but that doesn’t mean that Rodriguez will stand by while MLB allegedly continues to slander his name. A-Rod hasn’t tweeted in a while, but it would be entertaining to see a Twitter rant a la Ritchie Incognito style.
